DONDA BEAR Update 17: Fixing the Mold

DONDA BEAR Update 17

Vinyl Sample Preview

Hey everyone! We’ve got some great news in this week’s update. After some troubleshooting, the neck issue on the K.Bear figure has finally been resolved! We’re excited to show you the improved fit and final adjustments.

Regarding our timeline, we anticipate that the neck issue set us back by a couple of weeks, but we’ll actively work to make up for the lost time as production continues. As soon as we have more concrete dates, we’ll let you know. In the meantime, check out this update for all the details on the sample bear!

Here’s the production vinyl sample of the K.Bear figure. Even without paint, the level of detail is already awesome. And of course, the head now fits securely on the neck and can be removed easily, thanks to the fix.

From the video, you can see that the head and eye removal features work well on the vinyl sample (our earlier prototype was resin). This preview is pretty much a tutorial for your K.Bears, so you’ll know just how to swap the eyes with ease. That satisfying 'pop' sound gets us every time.

Here are some additional pictures for a full 360° view of the bear. Keep in mind that the parts haven’t been glued together yet, so you’re seeing the bear in its unfinished form here. The factory also tested it with our previous shoe models to double-check the fit, and so far, everything is lining up well!
